Pinball Magic, from New Potato, is both a G.I. JOE-sized pinball machine cabinet and free iPhone app. The accessory connects via your iPhone’s 30-pin dock connector, and features side flippers, a ball-launching plunger, an animated LED backbox display, and foldable legs. Combined with the iPhone 4′s ultra-sexy display and the pinball app itself, you’ve got yourself a fun little blast from the past right on your desk.

I loves me some iPhone cases … and I loves me some sweet, sweet Mario ass. Stands to reason why the iPhone Game Pad from Australian-based CP Design is such an arousing concept. The case slides over an iPhone, interfaces with the 30 pin connector, and provides the gamepad-type layout we all know and love. All we need now are some iPhone-specific console game ports to rock ‘n roll.

Continuing the trend of iconic realism from earlier in the week, behold the icon battery pack from essential tpe. While it does add an additional 3 hours of talk time to your iPhone, the icon‘s cool factor comes from the EL lighting film on its front panel. With the RedEye system (hardware + app), your iPhone or iPod touch becomes a godlike universal remote for your AV devices. The iPhone communicates with the RedEye hardware via Wi-Fi, which then talks to your home entertainment center over infrared.

If you’re a creative designer, you’ve probably had more than a few ideas for a sweet new iPhone app?  Unfortunately, any development skills beyond HTML are pretty much over your head.  VixML claims that with their software, “if you can write a web page, then you can write VixML.”  You won’t be creating anything terribly useful, but it looks like a great tool for building those fun interactive gadgets.  Now you can finally make that interactive glow-stick!
