Drool over this bad boy, as it’s a Japan exclusive (for now). Available July 29th, the existing black and new “Classic White” PS3 Slim models will come in 160GB and 320GB versions (120GB and 250GB sizes go bye-bye). The 160GB model checks in at ¥29,980 (US $340), with the 320GB version priced at ¥34,980 (US $400).

SCRAWL deftly grabbed JPGs from the UK Playstation site (since removed) showing forthcoming PS3 functionality upgrades. Most notably, Facebook integration into the network account area, and some other crap I don’t care about (photo viewing and gamercard colors).

Instant Netflix streaming movies and TV programs are now available on the PS3, Sony formally announced today. You get 2 weeks free to evaluate the service, however a setup disc received via snail mail is required for the install. The disc will take 13 days to arrive.
